Spring is on the way, but you'd not know it with the weather outside today. Skies this morning are ominous. Fortunately, this afternoon's rain will be light, the accompanying wind short lived, and next week will be better match the upcoming season.
For today, mostly cloudy skies are in the forecast, along with a band of rain that will make it's way across the region. Rain is expected to reach San Bernardino County by 1pm, Riverside County by 2pm, and San Diego County between 3 and 4pm. West of the mountains, up to 0.15" is about all that might make it down from the clouds. Rain totals could be a little higher in the Los Angeles basin.
The week looks much better, by the way, with sunny skies on the way, and warm temperatures, especially Wednesday and Thursday. |
