Enjoy a few photos from this past weekend's Street Painting Festival in Old Town Temecula.
Despite warm temperatures in the middle 80's, artists turned out to complete for a $500 cash prize and a weekend at the Welk Resorts and other prizes.
The yearly event taps the creative juices of more than one hundred artists, who create chalk art over a two day period. The murals created are 10' by 12'. Judging was at 3pm on Sunday.
Thanks to Douglas Leany for sending in pictures of the event. This is the third straight year we've received photos for the street painting festival.
