The second stormy disturbance in as many days left the first measurable rainfall of the month in most of the inland valleys Monday morning.
Predictions before the storm called for up a quarter of an inch of rainfall. Light rain fell in the morning to the north and the south, and not so much in the middle of the inland valleys.
The storm blew through quickly, with gusty winds and partly cloudy skies following in the afternoon.
Once again, De Luz had the highest total with 0.14", followed closely by Riverside at 0.13" and Fallbrook, Moreno Valley and Lake Elsinore at 0.10". Riverside and Moreno Valley were the unusual ones in the top bunch; they usually register near the bottom in measured rainfall.
Menifee was the lone WeatherCurrents station to not measure any rainfall. French Valley and Perris had a mere 0.01", and Hemet and Temecula registered a meager 0.02".
Data from WeatherCurrents' San Jacinto station continued to be unavailable.
Additional rainfall appeared unlikely for the rest of the week, with offshore flow taking over Thursday and lasting through the weekend.
