Upgraded wind sensors are in place at WeatherCurrents stations in Temecula, Riverside and San Jacinto.
The new Peet Bros Ultimeter Pro anemometers replaced the older design, and also required replacements of the weather console that records information from the sensor.
The new wind sensors have bigger cups and spin at lower wind speeds compared with the older design.
We've been replacing and installing the new wind sensors over the past year or so. The Ultimeter Pro anemometers are now in operation at WeatherCurrents stations in Perris, Moreno Valley, Wildomar, Lake Elsinore, Temecula, San Jacinto and Riverside. |
