A wildfire in the Temecula Valley wine country Monday afternoon was quickly contained, burning 22 acres.
There were no reports of injuries or structure damage.
According to Riverside County Fire Department reports, the fire was reported at 3:18pm, near the intersections of Pauba Road and De Portola Road.
The fire expanded from about five acres to 22 acres buy 4:30pm, when it was fully contained. 95 firefighters, helicopters and air tankers helped squelch the blaze. |
