WeatherCurrents.com was not available for about six hours Sunday morning after a misconfiguration caused the site to be unreachable.
The problem was traced to changes in the configuration of the Apache Web Server, which we use as a front end to serve images and other static content. Dynamic content is redirected from there to an instance of Apache Tomcat.
The configuration was fixed around 10:40am and service was restored. We apologize for the inconvenience. |
