An agricultural burn that got out of control burned about 100 acres in De Luz Monday.
The fire reportedly started in an orange grove near Vuelta Grande and Vuelta Chica roads, around 1:30pm.
By 6pm Monday, the fire had grown to 100 acres, and was reportedly raining ash on northern Temecula.
280 firefighters, including two helicopters, were fighting the fire. No injuries were reported, and no structures were threatened.
Full containment of the fire was expected Tuesday morning.
