A weak trough of low pressure brought temporary cool weather to the region Friday, with some areas reporting light showers.
Only three WeatherCurrents stations recorded measurable rainfall. Anza reported 0.03 inches, while both Fallbrook and Temecula reported 0.01 inch. In East Highland, Peter Michas reported 0.05 inches on Friday. The inclement weather quickly departed the region early Saturday as offshore flow resumed, once again ushering in warm, dry weather. Santa Ana Winds are expected to peak around Monday-Tuesday before reverting to cooler onshore flow later in the week. |
