Isolated thunderstorms were reported in various parts of the Inland Empire Wednesday morning, with three WeatherCurrents stations recording measurable rainfall.

Thunderstorms made their way into the region shortly after sunrise, breaking their way east of the San Jacinto Mountains. Downpours were reportedly brief, but heavy. Anza recorded 0.06 inches, as well as Temecula with 0.04 inches. De Luz also recorded a small, but notable 0.01 inch. Some rain fell intermittently into the morning.

Monsoonal moisture is not expected to affect the region again until next week.
