Motorists along Interstate 15 between the Temecula Valley and Corona may encounter patchy fog Tuesday morning on their commutes. The entire area is overcast from the marine layer, and visibility is down to about a half mile in spots.
The marine layer ceiling was around 2,000 feet, so higher areas saw sunshine this morning. The Ortega Highway above Lake Elsinore was above the marine layer this morning, as is usual when the inland valleys are affected.
Orange County was also overcast this morning, although no fog was reported there.
