Thursday's high temperatures were the hottest of the year in Murrieta, Temecula, and Fallbrook. Wednesday's high temperatures were the hottest of the year in Lake Elsinore, Menifee Valley, Hemet, Riverside and De Luz.
Only Lake Elsinore, Menifee Valley and Hemet were predicted to be above 100°F again on Friday, although hot temperatures continued to be predicted in the Temecula Valley and in the Riverside area as well.
