Sometime during the past storm, the Perris rain gauge became clogged.
Rainfall was still slowly dribbling in Thursday as the gauge continues to drain. The rain actually took place Wednesday.
The likely rainfall total for the storm was an inch and a half.
The usual cause of rain gauge clogs is bird poop.
We will have a corrected total when the gauge is cleaned out. |
