Problems with the wireless electronics at the De Luz weather station may lead to the station being down for the next two weeks.
Pieces of the weather station, which is a Davis Instruments Vantage Pro 2, are being shipped back to the manufacturer for repair, according to Steve Rhodes, who owns and hosts the equipment.
An attempt the replace just a transmitter board last week was not successful.
The equipment failure occurred August 20th.
We'll have the station back online as soon as we can. In the meantime, forecasts and weather stories will continue. |
