Installation of the Moreno Valley weather station is scheduled to begin Saturday, weather permitting. With some luck, most of the weather instruments will be operating by Saturday night.
The host of the Moreno Valley weather station is Mike Box, a long time Moreno Valley resident. The station will be located near the Sunnymead Ranch area, north of State Route 60 near Perris Boulevard.
Moreno Valley will be the 11th WeatherCurrents station, and complements nearby stations in Riverside's Canyon Crest area, Perris, San Jacinto, and Hemet. |
