With a high of 101.0°F yesterday in the 3pm hour, Lake Elsinore touched triple digits for the first time this year, and became the first WeatherCurrents community to do so.
Lake Elsinore's normal high temperature for this time of year is around 84°F. Persistent high pressure is fueling the hot weather in the region.
In 2005, Lake Elsinore recorded 28 days of 100°F or higher, the first occuring on July 12th.
Predictions call for a return to triple digits for both Saturday and Sunday this weekend. |
