After two straight chilly mornings, another potential morning of freezing or near-freezing temperatures and frost is possible Sunday in most of the inland valleys.
Frost and freezing temperatures are possible in portions of metropolitan Riverside, and in the Temecula, Elsinore, Menifee, and San Jacinto valleys.
Saturday morning's temperatures were the coldest of the season so far as Menifee Valley, Murrieta, Temecula and Lake Elsinore all recorded low temperatures below freezing. Menifee Valley was the coldest of the WeatherCurrents stations at 28.8°F.
Frost can kill sensitive plants. Plants susceptible to freezing should be covered or brought inside, if possible. |
