By Reginald Stanley. Posted August 20, 2023, 1:32 AM.

The San Bernardino Sheriff's Office ordered evacuation warnings for a number of communities in the San Bernardino Mountains on Saturday, in preparation for Hurricane Hilary's impacts. The towns and cities affected by the evacuation warning include Oak Glen, Forest Falls, Mountain Home Village, Angelus Oaks, and northeast Yucaipa.

Many outdoor activities, parks, beaches, and campgrounds were also closed in multiple counties across Southern California on both Sunday and Monday. The Los Angeles Zoo, virtually all Southern California State Parks, all state beaches in Orange and San Diego counties, all Los Angeles County parks and facilities, and Downtown Disney will all be closed to the public Sunday and Monday. Disneyland and California Adventure will remain open with modified hours. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department advised all residents and visitors of Santa Catalina Island to leave the island immediately, with the Avalon port being closed.

Additional evacuation information will be posted as it becomes available.
