Homes in Quail Valley were without power earlier this month for more than two days after a tornado struck Sun City and Quail Valley. There were no injuries, and no homes were reported damaged. The pictures below were extracted from video and reflect some of the damage.
According to Sharon, a resident in Quail Valley, more than 75 power lines were destroyed. "It picked up and threw a
300+ pound BBQ and across our back
yard," she said, "as well as the patio furniture".
Damage from the tornado was visible from the I-215 freeway all the way to Quail Valley.
