Efforts to move the Lake Elsinore weather station in northeast Lake Elsinore to another location nearby are underway. Initial installation at the new site began on Sunday.
The new location is at the home of Rick Guild, who was one of two volunteers to host the relocated station.
The current location is scheduled to go offline this Wednesday evening. We're hoping to have much of the new location ready to go before the current location goes offline, but it's very likely that wind data may not be ready until Saturday.
WeatherCurrents would also like to thank Jeff George, who also volunteered to host the weather station. |
