Another round of freezing temperatures and areas of frost are expected in the inland valleys for the morning of New Year's Day, although not quite as cold as those of New Year's Eve.
Some of the predicted lows for January 1st, 2011: 27°F in Wildomar, 29°F in Menifee and Temecula, 30°F in Lake Elsinore, Murrieta and San Jacinto, 31°F in Perris, 33°F in Riverside, Moreno Valley and Fallbrook, and 34°F in Hemet.
Temperatures on January 31st were as low as 26°F in Wildomar. San Jacinto recorded 27°F in morning, Lake Elsinore and Menifee weighed in at 28°F, Temecula, Murrieta and Perris were 29°F, and French Valley, Moreno Valley and Hemet were 30°F.
