The second system of the week swept in and through from the north overnight Monday, leaving little measurable precipitation in its wake.
Measurable rainfall was limited to Fallbrook, where 0.04" fell. Many other inland communities (such as Temecula) received sprinkles, but not enough to measure on WeatherCurrents' rain gauges.
The main impacts were isolated light showers, cool weather, clouds and gusty winds that continued through Monday and Tuesday. Peak wind gusts were 30 mph in Moreno Valley, 29 mph in Temecula, 25 mph in Murrieta, 24 mpg in Lake Elsinore, 23 mph in Fallbrook and 21 mph in Riverside.
Another fast-moving system was predicted to blow through late Tuesday night and Wednesday, continuing the cool, windy weather, but no rainfall was predicted. |
