What's turned out be a wet first half of February is predicted to continue for the next week and a half, with only brief breaks from showers and clouds.
A weak storm is predicted to perhaps take an inside track on Thursday this week, followed by a wetter, stronger storm Saturday and Sunday.
In the longer term forecast, rain is possible next week on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and again the following weekend.
Wet weather is not unusual for February, which is on avereage the wettest month of the year. Temecula's average is 3.69" for the month, Murrieta's is 4.25", Hemet's is 3.31", Fallbrook's is 4.22", and Lake Elsinore's is 4.14".
