As the former De Luz weather station went down permanently Saturday afternoon, work was progressing on integrating the weather feed from the new location about six miles southwest of the former location.
For the time being, there will be no weather feed on the De Luz site.
The new De Luz weather station is at the home of Steve Rhodes, and is near Sandia Creek and Carancho Roads.
The old De Luz weather feed was in place for about a year and a half, and is now in transit to Lyons, Colorado. WeatherCurrents thanks Sue and Dave Painter for their contributions to the local weather picture and looks forward to their new location. |
