The second storm of Spring brought more scattered showers to the region Tuesday and Wednesday, with most rain activity being confined to the overnight hours on both days.
Precipitation totals ranged from just 0.01 in East Hemet to 0.76 in Moreno Valley, not far away. The majority of storm totals were between one tenth and half an inch. Riverside, San Bernardino and Moreno Valley were all affected by persistent showers over the area Wednesday afternoon.
The storm may have been the last that the region sees for a while. A spring heat wave is in the forecast for next week, bringing well above-normal temperatures with it. Inland Empire communities may see high temperatures in the 90s.
