Defying predictions of more than an inch of rainfall, the third storm in a wet February series ended up sending another tenth to a half of an inch of rainfall to the inland valleys of Riverside and San Diego counties Sunday.
Highest totals this time were in the San Jacinto Valley (San Jacinto got 0.45", Hemet 0.38"), followed by the western areas (Lake Elsinore and De Luz at 0.36" and Fallbrook at 0.30").
All of the other WeatherCurrents communities were under 0.20", with Riverside (0.11") at the bottom.
De Luz retained the season total lead with 16.15" since July 1st, 2008, followed by Fallbrook with 15.43" and Temecula with 15.32". Riverside has recorded the least amount of rainfall for the season with only 6.60".
