Isolated shower are possible mainly over the San Bernardino Mountains this afternoon, then an increase of monsoonal moisture will lead to a chance of thunderstorms mainly Monday through Thursday afternoons in the mountains and deserts, with the greatest chances Tuesday and Wednesday. Gradual cooling and drier conditions are predicted late in the week into next week.
