A wildfire that broke out around 6:30pm Wednesday had burned 22 acres near Lake Elsinore before firefighters controlled it early Thursday.
The location was in steep terrain, near Laguna Avenue and Jamieson Street, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The wildfire, dubbed the Laguna Fire, caused a temporary closure of the Ortega Highway between Grand Avenue and El Cariso.
Up to 115 firefighters were on the scene, and two were treated for minor heat-relate injuries.
