With significant rainfall of more than half an inch falling Sunday in some WeatherCurrents locations in western Riverside and northern San Diego counties, and more expected tomorrow, it's worth noting that the record rainfall experienced in many areas in October, 2004 began one year ago Monday.
Last year, six to eight inches of rain fell in many areas in the two weeks between October 17th and October 31st, 2004.
Although 2005 doesn't figure to be as wet, the current storm looks to hang around through Tuesday morning, with the wettest stuff likely still to come. As of Sunday night the southern areas had received the most rainfall, with some areas (Riverside) relatively dry. |
