Thunderstorms, courtesy of a slow-moving upper High Pressure system, is bringing scattered rainfall to the region Saturday. This is forecast to continue into Sunday.
Thundershowers moved west of the mountains Saturday morning, with rain in the Inland Empire first being reported just before noon. Precipitation totals, as of Saturday afternoon, have ranged between nothing and 1/3 of an inch. French Valley currently leads the WeatherCurrents stations in rain totals, with 0.30" recorded so far. In southeast Wildomar, Reginald Stanley recorded 1.05" .
Station outages occurred in Anza and French Valley around mid-day Saturday, most likely due to thunderstorm activity. |
