A small storm rolled through the region on the morning of Thursday the 27th, preceding an even larger, wetter storm on Friday and Saturday. Simi Valley was the first to receive rainfall late Wednesday night, and subsequently was the wettest location in the WeatherCurrents network for the storm. Other wet totals were recorded in De Luz and Fallbrook.
Rainfall was light but widespread, with all stations recording at least some measurable rainfall. The driest locations were the eastern valleys, as well as Riverside. Canyon Crest recorded only 0.01 inch.
Storm Totals for the far more potent second storm, which occurred over Friday, February 28th and March 1st, will be posted Sunday night.
