By Reginald Stanley. Posted January 22, 2019, 12:00 AM.A deep trough swept through the region late Sunday night and into Monday morning, briefly bringing a deep marine layer and cool weather inland. Only one WeatherCurrents station recorded measurable rainfall on Monday morning, being Fallbrook with 0.02 inches. In East Highland, a total of 0.15 inches was reported by contributor Peter Michas - having described the doppler radar returns as "One Green radar blob". Other communities received drizzle and light sprinkles but no measurable rainfall. The trough's influence will persist into Tuesday, before being replaced by offshore flow and warmer weather later in the week. |
