A windy cold front swept through the region late Thursday night and Friday, bringing mostly overnight showers to the area.
Precipitation totals amounted to less than 1/4 of an inch in most communities, like most storms so far this season. WeatherCurrents contributors recorded the highest totals, with 0.32 inches at East San Jacinto (courtesy of Monty Parrott), 0.28 inches in Temecula Valley's Wine Country (courtesy of Jim Sappington), and 0.28 inches in East Highland (courtesy of Peter Michas). WeatherCurrents' San Bernardino station recorded 0.30 inches as well. Residual showers lingered in few communities by early Saturday. Only Menifee did not record any rain from the storm.
Another front was expected to enter the region late Sunday evening, with similarly predicted precipitation amounts.
