By John C. Toman. Posted April 7, 2012, 8:17 AM.After a streak of below normal temperatures and a few storms to wrap up March, this year's Easter weekend is shaping up to be a warm one. High pressure aloft is the main weather feature over Southern California through Monday, and it should coax afternoon temperatures into the 80's in the inland valleys and into the middle to upper 70's just off the coastal areas. In the inland valleys, Easter Sunday will run about ten degrees above seasonal norms. Normal temperatures for this time of year are 74°F in Lake Elsinore; 72°F in Menifee; 71°F in Temecula, Murrieta, Perris and Riverside; 70°F in Fallbrook; Hemet and Moreno Valley; and 68°F in De Luz. The warmth is only temporary, however. A weak storm is due Tuesday night, and another chance of rain is predicted next weekend. The combination of the two storms will cool our weather down. |
