A heat advisory remains for the Hemet and San Jacinto Valley through Wednesday with daytime high temperatures expected to reach 102°F throughout the valley. Monsoonal moisture is expected to return to the area on Friday bringing back the humidity and the chance for some showers and thunderstorms. Currently, there remains only a slight chance of any precipitation making it west of the mountains, with Friday and Saturday being the most likely day for that to happen, if at all.
