Mostly light rain began falling shortly after midnight, and continued through the 10am hour locally.

The rain was heaviest in the San Jacinto Valley, where WeatherCurrents stations in San Jacinto and Hemet recorded 0.30" and 0.29", respectively.

Other communities with significant totals were Perris with 0.26", De Luz (0.24"), Menifee (0.23"), Riverside (0.22") Fallbrook and Moreno Valley (0.21"), and Temecula (0.20").

Wildomar and Murrieta recorded the least amounts, at 0.14". Lake Elsinore and French Valley each recorded 0.18".

Predictions before the storm were for up to a tenth of an inch of rain.

Light rain was still possible into the afternoon, before taking a break this evening. Rain chances were expected to being increasing again tomorrow morning as a second storm arrives.
