 Santa Ana winds arrived early this morning across the northern portions of the Inland Empire and the Santa Ana Mountains . Some isolated gusts of 50 to 60 mph were reported, mostly in favored areas such as canyons and passes. In the Santa Ana Mountains, a gust to 81 mph was recorded at Fremont Canyon (Orange County)at 5 am.  In San Bernardino County, peak gust so far is 57 mph at Highland Springs. In Riverside County, highest gusts include 37 mph at Corona, and 36 mph in Riverside. Strong winds will continue through the afternoon, but will slowly begin to decrease in intensity.
