The National Weather Service has issued a Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for southeastern Ventura and southern Los Angeles County.
An area of heavy rainfall has already moved across the Simi Valley area, and more is to come. Radar indicates a line of heavy showers and thunderstorms from northwest of Piru to south of Oxnard off the coast. The The line is moving southeast and will begin to affect the Simi Valley area after 2 pm.
Simi Valley has already received 0.81 inches of rain today...0.66 inches of it between 10 am and noon.
