After temperatures rebound from the cool, rainy weekend, rain will be back to Simi Valley for Thanksgiving.
The next in a series of storms will move toward southern California. Right now, the computer forecast models show the storm headed on a track off the coast. This will take the heaviest rainfall over the Pacific Ocean. Best forecast for Simi Valley is a third of an inch or less of rain, mostly on Thanksgiving (Thursday) and Thursday evening.
Beginning Friday a strong ridge of high pressure quickly builds over the area, bringing a rapid warmup. Friday will warm to the 60s, then we will see highs in the upper 70s Saturday through Monday. Offshore winds Saturday through Monday will be light to moderate in the most areas. |
