We got a couple of mentions in the press this morning.
The first story is about La Nina conditions, which have re-appeared in the equatorial Pacific. Last year was the wettest La Nina year on record, and WeatherCurrents season totals from Lake Elsinore and Temecula are cited. Nearly half the rainfall fell in 12 wet days last December.
The second story is about an upcoming NCAA basketball game on the flight deck of the U.S.S Carl Vinson aircraft carrier on Veteran's Day. Wind and rain are predicted. Gary Robbins of the Union-Tribune interviewed WeatherCurrents meteorologist Jim Purpura for the story.
