A second, colder storm, coming through Saturday night and Sunday morning, added to rain totals from a wetter storm Friday and Saturday.
The colder storm left additional storm totals of about a tenth to a quarter of an inch in most inland spots in Western Riverside and Northern San Diego counties. A cold morning followed on Sunday, and snow levels came down briefly into the 3,000 foot range. Thunderstorms, which could have made things interesting by lowering snow levels, did not materialize.
