Several storms made their way through the region between Thursday the 7th and Tuesday the 12th, bringing unsettled weather and thunderstorms to some communities.
Rain from the first storm in the series was light, with most communities recording no more than 1/10 of an inch during the 7th and 8th. Unsettled weather continued with light drizzle falling in some communities during the 9th and 10th, with little measurable precipitation recorded during those two days. A very unstable low pressure system from the south arrived on the 11th, bringing widespread thunderstorms to much of the region that afternoon. The heaviest rain fell during this period in many areas, with some locations recording upwards of one inch of rain. Residual showers continued into Tuesday the 12th before high pressure moved into the region.
