A slow moving storm, the second of November, sent showery waves at Southern California November 16th-18th, leading to mostly small amounts of rainfall.
Rainfall was widely variable. Simi Valley, to the west, recorded the most rainfall, with 0.55". To the south, San Diego's City Heights recorded nothing measurable and Fallbrook (0.01"), Temecula (0.02") and Lake Elsinore (0.03") weren't far behind.
Other significant totals were in East Highland (0.29"), Beaumont's Cherry Valley (0.23"), Menifee (0.12") and Perris (0.12").
Most communities recorded a tenth of an inch or less.
The next potential storm is tentatively arriving Thursday or Friday, or perhaps Saturday. Timing is uncertain, and most of the storm's energy will be to the north.
