Moreno Valley Weather Station Returns After Computer Replacement

A failed computer at WeatherCurrents' Moreno Valley location was replaced Saturday, and the weather station is once more online. The computer, which translates the data stream from the weather station into an internet-enabled format, failed Thursday morning. The hard drive gave out after two years of service. WeatherCurrents is slowly replacing hard drive in various locations with solid state technology that is more resilient and much longer lasting. |
