By Reginald Stanley. These offshore winds are occurring across the mountains and inland valleys, with gusts ranging in the valleys from 20 to 40 miles per hour. Santa Ana Winds will weaken on Sunday. The same low pressure system responsible for our current windy weather will move south into northern Mexico on Sunday, bringing a slight chance of light rain across San Diego County (mainly in the foothills and mountains) late Sunday into Monday morning. Rain chances west of the mountains in Riverside and San Bernardino counties are very low. Following a dip in temperatures Monday and Tuesday, high pressure will build over the region throughout the remainder of the week, bringing much warmer and drier weather with it. High temperatures across the inland valleys may reach the low 90s on Thursday and Friday. |
