Thursday's late season storm dumped between one half to over one inch of rain in spots around Southwestern Riverside and Northern San Diego Counties. The rain was enough to cause the only meaningful local seasonal rainfall record to fall, in Fallbrook, where 1992-1993's 36.85" was surpassed.
Lake Elsinore led the way locally with 1.14", and nearby Sun City recorded the least at 0.52". Most areas in Temecula and Murrieta received around 3/4 of an inch.
Hemet remained the only WeatherCurrents station in operation the entire rain season to record less than 30 inches. Thursday's 0.63" in eastern Hemet brought the seasonal total there to 29.87".
