The last day of the year is set to be a cold one, with freezing or near-freezing temperatures and frost set to spread across the inland valleys Thursday night and Friday morning.
Here's a sample of predicted overnight lows: 29°F in Wildomar and San Jacinto, 30°F in Temecula and Lake Elsinore, 31°F in Menifee, 32°F in Murrieta, Hemet, Perris and Moreno Valley, 33°F in De Luz and Fallbrook, and 35°F in Riverside.
Daytime temperatures won't be very warm, either, with temperatures again only in the upper 40's to middle 50's.
Another cold night tomorrow will ring in the New Year. |
