Recent rains have led to a plethora of wildflowers blooming all over southern California, especially in the deserts. The following pictures were taken by Ian Schoenleber of Sage, who visited Anza-Borrego State Park last weekend.
For those intrepid enough to make the visit out there, directions and more pictures are at the Anza-Borrego State Park web site. Anza-Borrego State Park is in northeastern San Diego County, along State Route 78 and east of State Route 79. The wildflower season began last December, more than a month early.
