Showers yesterday in the Temecula Valley pushed Temecula's seasonal rainfall total over the milestone 30 inches mark. On-and-off showers Friday totaled 0.34", giving Temecula 30.09" of rainfall for the season to date.
The rain season began July 1st, 2004 and ends June 30th. WeatherCurrents' Fallbrook and Murrieta stations had previously passed the 30 inch mark in February. Of the four WeatherCurrents' stations in operation since the start of the complete rain season, only Hemet is still underneath 30" for the season, at 27.05".
As of Saturday morning, for the rain season to date, Murrieta continued to lead in rainfall at 34.81". Fallbrook was close behind at 34.60". |
