The office building where WeatherCurrents' Riverside weather station is located was tented Friday for termites.
The termite tarp immediately affected the readings from the site, leading to temperatures between 100°F and 128°F in the afternoon.
As a result of the readings, the station has been taken offline through Saturday. The tarp is expected to be removed Saturday and we'll put the station back online Sunday morning.
We had advance warning of the procedure, but had no idea what the effects would be.
Our apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused. |
