A software defect at the WeatherCurrents web site led to a data outage Saturday morning.
The data feeds from all 11 weather stations began to be mistakenly rejected by the web server in the 3am hour.
The site returned to full service in the 9am hour.
This was the first extended outage due to a software problem in WeatherCurrents' almost eight year history.
We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused and are working to prevent a recurrence of this problem. |
